July Fourth

Yesterday was Independence Day, so in the spirit of America’s freedom I donned the colors red, white and blue. This peasant style dress is from a really cool shop online called Clad and Cloth, and it needed to be hemmed to this length, but it’s a good quality fabric and it’s really comfortable. Definitely a shop worth checking out.

My fourth of July was pretty low key, mostly just hung out, started a new Netflix series called Marcella that’s really weird, and went to the beach to watch the fireworks.

I have been in a conundrum lately though because I think that I am allergic or intolerant to liqueur, but for some reason (that I’m pretty happy about) not beer or cider…doesn’t make much sense to me, but any time I drink anything with a liqueur in it I wake up in the middle of the night thinking I’m about to die with horrible heart palpitations. Can they test for this? Who knows. Maybe I’m just being a hypochondriac, but it is sort of terrifying waking up and feeling like your heart is going to beat right out of your chest. I guess it’s a good thing I prefer beer to liqueur anyways. (Anyone with input on this subject feel free to chime in and shed some light on the situation. Help a girl out.)

So that is what’s been on my mind lately, aside from constantly craving pizza and wondering when I’ll finally be able to get a hair cut.

I’m just gonna leave it at that because I worked a double today and I just want to relax now.

Thanks for reading,
