In honor of it being “blizzard” weather (not here in Pittsburgh really) I decided to do a bundled up look. It’s much harder to look original and cute when you have no choice but to wear big boots and a massive jacket, but it’s definitely not impossible. I just tried to keep my outfit pretty simple, and add cute touches, like a necklace and a beanie. I also did my makeup so I had a smokey eye and a nude lip, and that way I felt comfortable drawing all of the attention to my face by wearing a red beanie.
Because my hair is at an awkward length I prefer to just keep it all tucked back into the hat. Obviously you can see my roommate’s hair looks really cute in a bob with a beanie. My next endeavor is to grow my hair into an inverted bob, so until then I’ve been having to pin one side back and straighten the other because it’s at an in-between stage.
I bought this jacket for $20 last year at a consignment shop and it is in perfect condition. It’s a little bit big in the shoulders, but I don’t mind because that means I can wear big sweaters underneath. My roommate got her Columbia jacket at the same place. I always say it can’t hurt to check the second-hand stores before you dish out hundreds of dollars on clothes, because you never know what you’ll find!
Also went to a french desert place in Squirrel Hill and had my roommate get her first macaroons, it was awesome. I got that red thing, I don’t even know what it was, but it was delicious.
That’s all for now, I’ll be probably drinking wine for the rest of the night! Thanks for reading,
