Since it’s Easter weekend, and it’s finally starting to feel like spring, I decided to put on a dress. Shirt dresses are huge right now and are one of the most versatile articles of clothing to own. They are wicked easy to dress up or down. I found this one at a thrift store, but you can find a them almost anywhere now and I’d highly recommend investing in one. Anthropologie has a lot of cool styles, but if you’re like me the ones at H&M are probably more in your price range.
I hope some of you are doing eggs hunts and dyeing eggs this weekend, so I can live vicariously through you since I don’t get to go home to my family this weekend. You are never too old to have a little fun, I miss running around like a crazy person trying to find all of the orange eggs before my siblings found theirs. I will definitely be buying myself a chocolate bunny though because that’s one tradition I keep alive.
I don’t usually get very dressed up for Easter so I kept this outfit simple with a black flat and a simply black jacket with a ruffle detail. I did go a little more bold with my makeup, but nothing over the top. Here I am wearing a brown smokey eye with the Naked 2 Basics palette, a small cat eye with Maybelline Line Stiletto liner (so easy to use!), and Fuschia Finery lip gloss from Revlon. I’ve also filled in my brows to really bring the attention to my eyes.
Next weekend I will be posting from back home in New Hampshire, and will hopefully be doing a shoot in Boston with my best friend for her birthday so make sure to check back!
Thanks for reading,

(Excuse the quality I had no one to take my picture so I got really ratchet with the self timer)
